I've been thinking lately that I need to set up a Blog.  And I wasn't sure where to do it.  Well, lo and behold as I was directed to a Blog tonight I realized I still had my Cowgranny Blog right here, still functional.  So, What the heck, I'll just keep writing here.
More to come!

I'll bet you DIDN'T know..............

Sometimes life goes along well and we're happy and not needing His help so much.......other times life is hard and we need His help just to get thru.....and we turn our focus to Him because we realize only He can really help us then...and we pray....and we find comfort even if we don't get the answer we want.......
Read the following and be surprised......and reminded :)

How Great is our God!!!  Our Creator and Redeemer . . . and do we THINK about it ???

God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs.. . . . .For example: the eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days; those of the canary in 14 days; -those of the barnyard hen in 21 days; The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days; those of the mallard in 35 days;
-The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.

(Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)

God's wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant.
The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction. No other quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs. For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first. A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first. How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!

God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as well as in the number of grains.

-Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.
-Each orange has an even number of segments.
-Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
-Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
-Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number.

-The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.

-All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord specified thirty fold, sixty fold, and a hundred fold all even numbers.

God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day. Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed!

The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for His glory, if you will only entrust Him with your life. If you try to regulate your own life, it will only be a mess and a failure. Only the One Who made the brain and the heart can successfully guide them to a profitable end.

365 PHOTO CHALLENGE

It's a good thing!  I love to take photos, I love to find treasures in nature and animals to photograph, I love to catch those amazing candid shots of people..........but..........I'm not nearly as crazy about the editing.   But I'm about to launch myself into Photoshop layers and masking and hope to enjoy it as much as others do.   It's just so time consuming.........and I'm just so ADHD and restless sometimes :)
But I love the images I create when I take the time and it's all worth it then.

What a Good Day.....

Sunny and brittle cold here in Wilton, California today.   Brrrrrr!!!
I had a very fun and funny chat with my middle daughter today.   She can get me going and I laugh till I cry.   Fun times!!!
I dyed some mohair two astonishing shades of turquoise......one a brilliant, beautiful, typical turquoise; the other a sublte, sage kinda grey/green that I only left in the dye bath 15 seconds and then rinsed a LOT.   It's quite beautiful :)  You would never know it came from a brilliant, vibrant, deep turquoise dye.
Photographed COW's little heifer baby......sigh.........just so darn cute and huggable.
Vacumed and rearranged my studio...........got lots of fun sewing ahead.........and always need a cinch in the works.
I'm on a new touch screen computer and need to get my photos where I can grab them to show you what's new here.
Fed our hungry, furry critters.
Got a chance to hug my handsome grandsons as they dropped by for a quick hello.
Washed some new fabrics that I was concerned might bleed color a bit........no.........good to go. (I buy only the finest quality cottons for my gorgeous Cowgirl Chic Wild Rags along with awesome shimmering threads to set them off).  In fact, I haunt unique quilting shops for the top of the line sweet fabrics.   They make such beautiful wild rags.
I'm on the hunt for some new silks, too.   My next splurge.
Well, the hot shower is calling my name and I'm on my way......then I just may snuggle down for a movie and snacks :)
